Two days late...

with this post! And I'll be a couple of pictures short this week also! I've been a bit busy since Sunday. I got a call from Dan on Sunday morning. He had taken Sam away for the weekend as a surprise. He wouldn't tell her or anyone where they were going. After booting up Skype, and getting past all the normal nicities, I asked him how their weekend went and Sam held up a beautiful diamond ring that she was wearing on her left hand! They got engaged at Neurschwanstein Castle in southern Germany. Did I raise a romantic son,or what?? So here's a picture I'm sharing that someone took for them on bridge that overlooks the castle and that someone on the Clickin Moms forum tweaked for me in Photoshop!

I was so excited but wanted Dan to be able to tell his dad and brothers, none of whom where home at the time. So I had to wait all day to call grandparents and aunts and uncles to let them know the good news. Dan and Sam were kind enough to wait until Monday to post their annoucement on Facebook.

On Monday morning I drove up to University Park to get Kevin and his stuff since his semester is over. I haven't touched my camera since Saturday, so there won't be any new pictures for a day or two or three. The theme is affection again, and not favorite since I need cooperative subjects!
